This is your chance to complete an assignment with a partner or group, as most assignments are asked to be done individually. Coming soon, I will be sending out some opportunities for you to be able to complete this work. You have two options, but will have many choices within those options throughout the semester. The first option is asynchronous collaboration. This means that you will be working with your classmates. You will read the directions and complete the assignment on the Main Menu -> Discussion Groups board. Post your answers and respond to your classmates on the board. A copy of your work will be submitted as one of the Collaboration/Enrichment assignments (in your Assessments list) and a copy of your partner dialogue will be submitted in the second Collaboration/Enrichment assignments. The second option is synchronous collaboration. This means you will attend one of my live lessons (link to live classroom found on the Announcement page) and work with the group attending. You will collaborate with others during the session and then answer some reflection questions at the end. At the end of your assignments list, you’ll see Collaboration Assessment 1 and 2 (or Enrichment Assessment). This is where you’ll upload your work from our collaborative sessions. The first assignment gets the questions you will respond to and the second gets the pdf from our live session. The Earth and Space Science course curriculum includes asynchronous options posted right now. Please see the "Collaboration Option" in each Module to decide which you would like to complete and then work on finding a partner to work with, using the Discussion Groups boards. |
